Backseat Baby?
More like Podcast Baby.
My Audio Story
I was a "Backseat Baby" but, it was definitely not love at first sight. My mom would drive me to school in our 2001 Nissan Altima, NPR turned all the way up. I dreaded opening the car door- that was when all the pent up "Morning Edition" would come pouring out. All the other cars were blaring music, but my mom was blasting NPR.

What was love at first sight? Serialized Narrative Podcasts.

I grew up alongside the rise of podcasting, and audio storytelling is imprinted on me, I can't imagine my life without it. Shows like Serial, Floodlines, Idolo: The Ballad of Chalino Sanchez, Boom Town, and Snap Judgement have all shaped the way I approach my storytelling.

I'm currently a student at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. During my time at the J- School I have reported national stories for the LA Times, NPR, and PBS. I was formerly an intern at Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting and The Science of Happiness Podcast.
